When we looked at the user reviews, we saw that 60% had great things to say about the ride on and left 4 or 5-star reviews.
Of these reviews, people commented on how well the boots fit and protected their dog’s feet when running on jagged rocks, brush, or even hot asphalt during the summer. They also liked that the shoe features two straps which help keep the shoe on the paw.
So what did the remaining 40% of customers who left 3-star or below reviews have to say? The most common complaint customers had were the shoes slipped off their dog’s feet whenever they tried walking them. According to the testimonials, it would appear that the boots are a hit or miss. Some customers feel they work really well, while others feel they aren’t good for all types of terrain.
We recommend that you use caution if you want to buy these booties. They’re pricy, they have a tendency to slip down the dog’s foot, but they are constructed well, they feature dual Velcro straps, and they will protect your dog’s foot… The question is for how long? It would appear that that depends on where your dog is walking.
